The R100 has features normally only offered with larger, more expensive, pumps. The motor is protected by a heavy duty mechanical seal made of silicon carbide. Rotor shaft, motor housing and all hardware is made of 304 stainless steel and all other ''wet parts'' are made of reinforced plastic. A thermal breaker ensures shut-down should overheating occur. The R100 is an ideal pump for many different applications, and can be used in salt water.
